Mission - Empowering young professionals and fellow Sri Lankans to lead the nation to a healthier sustainable future
Our organization is helping the individuals, families and the communities to improve their health and well-being by enabling them to take over and control the determinants of their health.
Our Vision
A caring, sharing, content and a self-reliant Sri Lanka
Our team, which consists of young professionals wants to see a world where every individual would achieve a certain level of understanding on the strength of their inner selves to reach the true potential and to take control over their lives avoiding the false manipulation by the manipulators such as industry driven market forces and different parties with vested interests.
Young Professionals’ Alliance for Health (YouPAH) is an organization bringing together a group of enthusiastic young professionals who are passionate about promoting the health of the people.
The definition for ‘Health’ has changed drastically over the past few decades, to encompass a complete state of physical mental and social wellbeing, rather than the mere absence of disease. In addition, the topic encompasses a wide arena of subjects and has given rise to a multitude of industries based on it.
With the main focus of most of these industries being mere profit gaining, spreading of misleading information that are harmful for a society has been frequently reported.
It is our focus as YouPAH, to uncover the truths behind these industries, to speak up and to take measures to protect and to promote the health of the country and working against the harmful determinants, while remaining impartial and unaffiliated to third parties, political or otherwise.
